Content makes it
How many times have you walked into an empty room and wondered: everything I want to put in here won't fit.
I think it is the typical condition of someone who has no eye for space. It happened to me too. How many times I convinced myself that a certain room could not hold a wardrobe, a bed, a chest of drawers and bedside tables. Everything looked small to me, the dimensions seemed tight. And yet it was my eye that had no sense of dimension.
I am convinced the same goes for the brain. Ignorance has no content, so the brain is empty. Then you fill it and everything changes. Of course, if you fill a room with the right furniture everything is fine, but if you overdo it, horror is the natural result.
The brain is an empty room that needs to be filled, furnished. Taste is the foundation; the furniture matters, just like what you put in your head.
Filling yourself with something that builds up instead of destroying is Wisdom rather than folly. Let's learn to furnish ourselves with good things.
Sometimes a right direction is better than travelling without a destination.
