Man must dominate woman
Oh yes! Is that what made you angry enough to come in and read this article, or did it make you curious because you're exactly a macho type, or who knows, a feminist ready to smash the face of anyone who steps on your category?
Of course! Today there are categories, there are things to fight for, and just as happened in the past, great armies fell into the enemy's trap because they left the city walls to chase the supposedly defeated, while another wing of that pursued army, first hidden behind the walls, entered and conquered the city.
It happens that man and woman want to take sides, go, fight, and they end up drifting away from concrete things, and so what until then was their fortress comes to an end.
If today you hear on the news that parents throw their daughter out of the house because she is a lesbian, I say it isn't the parents' fault, nor the children's. All this happened because the enemy had the cunning to get inside the walls and conquer them.
No, I'm not on the parents' side or on the daughter's side, simply because they know their own situations, and hearing a news story served to you already packaged with an ending leaves you without details, letting you judge only what the story wants to highlight most.
If the daughter made certain choices, it's surely because there were conditions that led her to choose something that is contrary to the normal order of nature, that is, love seen as a couple, when a couple meant man and woman. Obviously love in general also means loving one another.
Now, if the parents made this choice, they too surely have their own principles. I believe you can't call a house good by judging its outside walls, because that doesn't mean there isn't mould inside.
You can die of a heart attack because, although you're healthy, your heart has been affected by your bad eating habits, or you can also die of a heart attack if your heart can no longer cope with the metastases invading your body. As you can see, you can end up the same way from two different situations.
The death of something comes from a wrong beginning; if things started the right way, they could end the right way.
So what is the right beginning?
Surely starting from a right foundation. If the problem is the children, I believe we must start from the family. If the problem is the family, I say go back to the foundation of the union or, why not, go even deeper, into the family life of the individual parents.
But how useful is it, after a situation, to dig into one's past?
It is and it isn't. It's useful to understand that at the foundation there must be a man who should be responsible for his own family. That man who today is missing. Missing as a man, as a husband, who only knows how to show off and play the lover when it suits him. Missing is the serenity of the woman, who is no longer mistress of the house and mother of exhausting children who are sometimes managed with firmness. Women who now leave the house to the pseudo-babysitters of children and husband in order to be "rightly" emancipated women, carrying on what the man is no longer capable of doing. Missing are the children, who are nobody's children, who acquire their maturity at 4 because their parents separate, who have no reference points of man and woman, of a socket and a plug that charge their son or daughter.
The standard figures are missing, the basic figures are missing, the foundations are missing, and we know that if the house is built on sand, then it COLLAPSES.
If things keep going this way we'll only see fallen houses, so rubble and deserted cities, because the family will no longer be made up of a socket and a plug, and so there will no longer be energy powering our children. The world will switch off.
You, man, be a real man: instead of beating your wife and dominating her because you're now incapable in the face of her abilities and truths, LOVE her, accepting that you're wrong and, why not, sometimes useless in what you do.
You, woman, instead of being the "do-it-all" and the neurotic, help the man you chose to love and educate him, because your first job is precisely to form your army, husband and children.
You, child, instead of acting like the one who "has made it" because you think all the problems are yours, learn to love your parents, start again from respect, from the figures they are, even going against your own judgement, remembering that your judgement may one day be your children's.
After all, we are all born children, but we want to play at roles that aren't ours and that we don't know how to carry out.
There's nothing to do but repent, because parents now want to play a role that starts from the enthusiasm of living together, having children and running away from their own parents, and the avalanche of situations leads you to end up feeding the news, which can't wait to package another tragedy to fill us with despair while we eat lunch or dinner.
Change this wrong habit too, and feed on your family at lunch and dinner as well, so as to guard your walls, not allowing the enemy to enter and conquer your fortress, the holy family.
Turn off the TV, talk, listen, answer, be patient, love, overlook, forgive, advise, solve, help, teach, rebuke, shout but don't sin in your speech, cry together..., get back up together... Things can still change.
Change always involves breaking old habits and well-established patterns, but where there is the will to save one's family, oneself and the children, the strategies change so that the enemy hidden behind the walls doesn't get in.
Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favour, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favouritism.
Colossians 3:18-25
Changing is also knowing. Knowing is imitating. Imitating is not doing things perfectly, but loving. Loving is submitting. Submitting is not being beneath, but being in balance. Balance is like a pair of scales: if one weighs more, the other loses weight, and vice versa.
Happy reflecting on change in your family.
