On a day, a Friday
Everything begins, but...
Why does everything begin on a Friday? I have been signed up on WordPress for quite a while to publish my thoughts or the mistakes of my life, yet I started today, on a Friday. Wandering through my thoughts, I reflected on Friday, because TODAY is Friday. By now it is established that Friday is the day for a record release, for publishing something. Maybe Friday is the preparation for a rest, the Sunday one. Maybe because Friday is the end of the tiredness built up during the working week. Maybe on Friday we all take stock. Maybe because Friday is actually the last day of the week, if you consider that Sunday is a beginning. Friday is the day before man's day, Saturday, the sixth (6) day of the week.
Either way, everything begins and cannot have an end other than a different choice. I mean that everything you choose to do has an outcome, for good or for bad. In this case, either it ends well or it ends up forgotten. I hear many people urging others to do, to move, to produce, to get going. I believe people need to push themselves spontaneously. We don't need moral pushes. So I decide to use a blog, because I like talking the way I do in my podcast, but sometimes I go faster in writing.
Everything begins on a Friday because, whether it was a record, a book or a journey, I know Sunday will come and I will be able to rest in a small work that is born through something and grows from small movements, to small steps, to being weaned for a whole life.
Where will all this lead? Only Monday will be the reason why Friday will go on inspiring. Meanwhile I take the first step, and so, one after another, a journey will take shape that will probably lead me from destination to destination.
Come aboard too and let's walk together, but don't follow me: walk beside me, at least we'll be able to talk.
